Born and raised in Red Lake, Ontario, I am a proud Métis individual with a deep connection to my heritage and the natural landscapes that inspire my work. My early exposure to the beauty and resilience of the Canadian wilderness has profoundly shaped my perspective, particularly as a craftsman specializing in woodworking. Whether working with basswood, birch, or hardwoods, I channel this inspiration into functional and artistic creations, blending traditional craftsmanship with a modern sensibility.

My professional journey led me to Shoalts and Zaback Architects, where I honed my architectural skills. During my time there, I contributed to innovative designs that balanced aesthetics and practicality, reflecting the diverse needs of the communities we served. This experience enriched my appreciation for thoughtful design and deepened my understanding of materials—lessons I carry into my woodworking practice. Each project, large or small, is an opportunity to unite function with beauty and honour the story behind every piece of wood.
